Wedding photographers can be one of the most challenging roles to fill because, unless you have experienced their way of working, all you see is the finished product.

While the photographer's style is important for choosing the right one for you, what you give them to work with and how they create those images for you is equally important. If you've created a mood board for your day please share it with me and I'll include it in my plan to set the tone of the captures based on your vision.

Planning - Being Prepared
It takes planning to create a loose environment with both posed and unscripted image crafting. Based on your wedding day itinerary, and with reference to your mood board, I'll create my own schedule to be where I need to be when when you want me to be there without creating stress (in other words: we'll watch the clock so that you won't have to).

Attitude
Reading the room and mirroring that energy is one of the best skills a photographer can develop. Remembering that the wedding is about you, the setting and the social environment you have created, your photographer's job is to memorialize you and your guests in the best light and the ideal way to do this is to fit in.

Equipment - Back ups to the back ups to relieve stress and allow your day to flow smoothly
Cameras, lights and memory cards are essential foundational tools. While I carry three cameras on myself (each with a different lens for different opportunities) my assistant/second photographer carries two cameras on their body as well. Each camera has two memory cards - with the second card being a back up of your pictures (each image is recorded twice on separate memory cards). In addition to this we have a variety of lights we bring to every wedding as well as an excess of batteries.

The Post-Wedding Process - for every hour of wedding day coverage there will be three hours of photo processing
On your wedding night all of your RAW images will be downloaded onto an external hard drive and, the next day, each image will be reviewed with the best ones chosen and edited for lighting, cropping and colour modifications. Your images will then be converted to large JPG files and receive further touch ups in Photoshop.

Online Gallery - 1 to 2 weeks after your wedding day

The wedding packages are for the completed digital photograph files. Once the touch ups are completed your photographs will be uploaded to a personal online gallery and a link will be sent to you. From the gallery you can download your pictures and then save them on your own computer, share them on social media and print them yourself. You can also order prints from my website and I can design photo albums for you.
