An IKEA Adventure
We were caught making pictures in IKEA.
But it turned out alright
Ana and JF wanted pictures made in the IKEA food court enjoying a hot dog, which we did but then we ventured through the store grabbing pictures in the aisles and on carts until we were discovered in the lighting section. The staff approached us and asked if we were making pictures and we told them “yes” (fully, and understandably, expecting to be shown the do-it-yourself exit), but then we were surprised when they were like “okay”.
So we asked if we could go to the ballroom and, because it was closing at 8 pm, they showed us the way.
And they dove right in.
We made a series of pictures with different angles, close-ups and distant shots, but this one (made by me leaning over Ana and JF with my arms precariously stretched out as far as possible without falling in) is my favourite.
It’s a given that you will want the must-have “normal” pictures, I’m here for it, you can also make room in your day to share your adventurous spirit in pictures that transcend documentation by creating art.
