Hannah and Malcolm climbed into the bed of her grandfather’s old pickup,
its faded green paint whispering of the years it had seen.

The maid of honour took the wheel, steady hands guiding the moment forward.
Behind them, the gothic silhouette of St. Finnan’s rose like a cathedral in a storybook,
framing the next chapter of their lives.

Then, just for a breath, Hannah kicked back her train,
and time stood still.

It looked like a movie.
Only better, because it was real.
