Karina and Patrick wedding at The Experimental Farm Museum
I’m going to start at the end, kind of a nod to Tarintino (without the colourful use of language).
Right before the first dance I positioned the camera with a prefocused manual focus T/S lens on a tripod, a long shutter speed set, with my assistant instructed to click a picture everytime she had a profile view. I knew the picture would be blurry because of motion and I knew many pictures wouldn’t work - I also love to make at least two experimental set ups during a wedding - because I like the unusual because the unusual is often remarkable.
No worries about the other first dance pictures, I was skulking around making “normal” pictures while she was conducting my experiment.
So we’ll now go back to the start and follow chronological order.
And here is the next experimental shot - again with aT/S lens - heavy on the T.
Followed by portraits and reception
